How we use your information

AA8 Corporation · AA8 Rural STEM & AI Pathways · Last updated September 29, 2026

When you register yourself or a child for AA8 Rural STEM & AI Pathways (Kids Robotics Lab, Teen Tech Lab, Cyber Academy or the 4-H Comm.Unity Robotics Club), you share personal details. This page explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

Registering yourself

People 16 and older may register themselves. If you're 16 or 17, we also ask for a parent or guardian's name and phone number as an emergency contact (we don't text them), and we ask your parent or guardian before taking photos or video of you.

Why we use it

We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.

Text messages

If you agreed to texts, we send lab invites, reminders and updates about sessions your child is eligible for. Message frequency varies with the lab schedule. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop texts and HELP for help. Reply START to receive texts again. Texts are sent through our messaging provider, Twilio. Your mobile number and consent are not shared with third parties for their own marketing.

Email

We email a registration confirmation and occasional progress updates. Every update includes an unsubscribe link.

Who can see it

AA8 staff who run the program. Our service providers process it only to run the system: our hosting provider stores the database, Twilio delivers texts, and our email provider delivers email. Photos and video are only taken of children whose parent allowed it.

Your choices
